Mike Weaver began his love for the great outdoors and hunting career at the age of five years old. His father and uncles contributed to his pursuits and by the time he was ten he had harvested all types of game except for a whitetail deer. All the time he was honing his skills that would one day make\him one of the top deer hunters in the world.

In Mikes more than thirty years of experience with whitetails he has written several articles for magazines and had many articles written on him

Mike is a lifetime member of, Virginia Deer Hunters Association, North American Hunting Club and Buckmasters. While also being a member of, Pope and Young Club, Professional Bow Hunters Society, National Rifle Association, Long Hunter Society and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Mike is best known for his love and dedication to bowhunting and gained a reputation as being a nationally know harvester of monster bucks. In 1991 he became the first bowhunter to take three Pope and Young deer in one week. If that wasn't enough, in 1992 he became the first hunter to take five Pope and deer in a single year!

The accumulated efforts of Mike's hunting pursuits has produced some fantastic results. Mikes six largest scoring deer make the prestigious 900 Club. His accomplishments for total bow-taken animals make him the number one guy in the Pope and Young record books with an impressive 47 trophy bucks to his total.
