Get ready for the 14th annual Rochester Sportsmen's Show! The show will be March 6th - 8th at
the Monroe County Fairgrounds, Henrietta NY, in both the Dome and newly renovated Minett halls.
The Rochester Sportsmen's Show is the area's best pure hunting and fishing show. It is the only
show that offers a giant aquarium and more booths, exhibits, seminars and action areas in two buildings.
OSEG's GIANT Traveling Game Fish Aquarium will be one of the many features. There's the
return of "The OSEG Action Pond," where lumberjacks will perform. There will be a Trout Pond
stocked daily for fishing, a Casting Pool where spin, fly and bait casting experts will perform, teach
and lecture, an Air-gun Range for the kids, Archery Range, special whitetail deer displays by the Northeast Big Buck Club, and more things to see and do!
That is just the tip of the iceberg. Check out some of the many highlights for this year's show.
Top buck hunting expert Dick Scorzafava, will be signing his new 'must have' deer and bear
hunting books, both receiving rave reviews while at the show. Keep an eye out for Dick's Latest book, "Spies in the Deer Woods." This book was co-authored with Walt Larsen and is filled with info
about the use of cameras to aid in both monitoring and scouting wildlife for your next game hunt.
Dick is featured on the Knight 'Born to Hunt' television show which airs on the Outdoor Channel and Wild TV. Be sure to attend Dick's seminars. Dick Scorzafava has the best information on calls, scents, rattling, tracking, still hunting and stand hunting.
Dick Scorzafava and Schrade Knives and Tools have put together an amazing giveaway for the show.
Be sure to check out Dick's BIG Schrade Giveaway! You could be a lucky winner and with
thousands of dollars worth of knives, there will definitely be many winners at this years show!
Schrade Knives is just the beginning! Dick will also have 12 Hooyman Extendible Tree Saws to give
away during his seminars.
These are just the tip of the iceberg... Thousands of dollars of hunting products from dozens of manufacturers will be given away at each seminar. Nobody on the seminar circuit is giving away
anything like this at their seminars.
This year OSEG brings back Ron Walkers "Friends with Feathers". He has a live display of owls,
hawks and falcons and will be at the show with some of these amazing birds for your enjoyment.
Ron's 'fun facts' will teach everyone interesting things about theses amazing birds. 'Friends With
Feathers' is a nonprofit organization caring for permanently injured birds of prey while promoting their public education info.
Come to the Rochester Sportsmen's Show and meet the members of the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club
.
At their display you can view the fishing boat motor your grandfather used to catch the monster fish
he tells you about during the holidays. The motors may be old-timers, but thousands are fascinated
by them and you will be too once you see them in person. This is a great display the whole family will enjoy.

The country's fastest growing measuring group, the
Northeast Big Buck Club, will be measuring deer
racks during the entire show. Hunters are encouraged to be a part of this great display by bringing their racks to be
measured and displayed.

There will be seminars by local bass experts Lou Rissotti, Matt Martin and TJ Valle with their special knowledge of the local
waters and how to fish them.
Between them they have traded wins at the Rochester
Bass Classic many times, sharing top spots on the tournaments' records. Local experts give the most valuable tips to
landing that lunker of a lifetime.

show for all kids between ages 7 and 14. Prizes and certificates will be awarded for the competitions
Sunday. Bring the kids Sunday for this fun filled event!
Back by popular demand, OSEG brings the "Hank Peters Lumberjack Show" to the Rochester
Sportsmen's Show. With log rolling, hatchet throwing, saw carving and saw competition they are sure
to keep the crowd happy. Don't miss this exciting and entertaining 'wet and wild' show filled with thrills and spills!

Navhda, North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, will present demonstrations of the dogs in action,
using basic and advanced training techniques. Training tips for handling your dog from 'pup to pro' will make your time with
your best friend more valuable.
Jason Franz will demonstrate fly-fishing techniques with
individual hands-on lessons and casting techniques at the
casting pool. He will add yards to the casts of beginners, and feet to the presentations of experts.
The "Sportfishing Simulator" will be on hand for "free" interactive
battles as Salmon, Smallmouth and Lakers are landed. Fun for the whole family to try.
Old tackle buffs will enjoy Kyle Kuba's collection of old fishing tackle and local fishing memorabilia
again this year. Kyle's assortment of past local and national favorite lures, rods and reels will
fascinate even the non-collector. Bring you old lure to find out what it's worth.
NY's, and possibly the world's largest, broadhead collection will thrill archers and be of high interest
