A saltwater fishing seminar by David Pickering

David Pickering's new seminar for 2009 is called, Striper Strategies from Shore and Boat. In this seminar, David will feature
tips and techniques for catching striped bass from boat, kayak and shore.
The boating section features fishing with artificials as well as techniques for using menhaden to catch big, keeper bass.
Much of the action was shot in Narragansett Bay this past season.
Kayak striper fishing, a fast growing sport, is also featured in detail. We'll be fishing the coves and harbors of 'Gansett Bay
for keepers as well as schoolies casting with light tackle and artificials from the yak. There will also be some novel
information for rigging a kayak for striped bass fishing. Shore fishing will deal with fishing the migrations of spring and fall for
stripers along the RI oceanfront as well as winter fishing for holder bass.
There will be lots of information on fishing the hotspots for big keepers at night as well as blitzing schoolies by day. It will
feature casting with artificials, including many of the hot, new plastic artificials that are so effective these days. Throughout
the show, references will be made to the latest in fishing tackle as well as tips on making your own lures!
