Mitaly’s Wild Wood Carvings

 

Professional wood carver Chris Mitaly specializes in quality detailed fish carvings. His interests in recreating fish began when he was 6 years old. His father, who was a taxidermist, gave him Styrofoam fish bodies to tinker with. Growing up he also loved drawing fish.

 

 Today he uses his roots to create the 3D masterpieces.  

Chris is an avid outdoorsman; whose passions include hunting and fishing.

 

He uses that knowledge to bring life and character into his fish carvings. All carvings start from a block of wood and are then hand drawn, designed, shaped, sanded, and styled.

Mitaly's Wild Wood Carvings is located in Enfield Maine.

Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Chain Pickerel, Muskellunge, Rainbow trout, Brown trout, Brook trout, Lake trout, Landlocked salmon, White perch, Cusk, Yellow perch, Splake, Steelhead, and Black crappy
